Ghost World: Enid Coleslaw & Rebecca Doppelmeyer

As promised I can finally release Enid & Rebecca after deciding I would not mess with their faces too much from the preview photos. I really wanted to make these characters after reccently watching the film Ghost World which was fantastic and I also loved how similar they were to characters Daria and Jane.

I then read the graphic novel a few days ago, which I enjoyed more so than the film...I instantly got the urge to make them.

So here they are:

Enid Coleslaw and Rebecca Doppelmeyer

(I'd like to also  note that these are not mean't to be Thora Birch or Scarlett Johansson look-a-likes because I'm lazy >;])

Enid Coleslaw (her father had their surname legally changed from "Cohn" before she was born) and Rebecca (Becky) Doppelmeyer are two cynical, intelligent teenage girls who are best friends in the 1990s. They have recently graduated from high school and spend their days wandering around their unnamed town criticizing pop culture and the people they encounter while wondering what they are going to do with the rest of their lives. They are attracted to boys, in theory, but also unhappily entertain the possibility that they might be lesbians. Their friendship is very close, but as the book goes on tensions between them build, especially over Enid's plans to move away to college. They also have a quiet friend named Josh; throughout the book the two girls enjoy teasing him, but they are also attracted to him and eventually a romantic triangle of sorts forms.

Preview: Ghost World

I just thought I add some preview pics of two new sims in the making, based of the wonderful graphic novel and film 'Ghost World'; I really loved the character Enid and thought she would make an awesome sim, these pair should hopefully be uploaded by tomorrow I just want some more time to fix tiny things with their faces. Returning back to the Daria series I'm proud to finally release part one of the Lawndale Faculty.. and theres no better way to do this than without two fan favourites: Mr. Demartino and Mr. O'Neill. These pair have the limited custom content which may seem quite bizzare but I didn't feel the need to over use it when EA offered some quality content that stayed true to the characters. (Well sometimes) 

I must mention also, that Mr. O'Neill looks like he is in his 20's in the images but he is actually an ADULT sim.....

 Mr. O'Neill is the English teacher (with an occasional stint as the teacher of Lawndale High's self-esteem class). The most charitable description of him would have to be "complete and total wuss." He's a "sensitive new-age type" who is always talking about one's feelings; unfortunately, he doesn't have a very good grip on his own emotions, as he's almost always upset or distressed about something.

 Mr. DeMartino teaches History, and is stressed out to the point of being taken away in a straight-jacket (he makes Jake look like a master of Zen meditation). Mr. DeMartino is not unlike Jake in the fact that he suffered a bad childhood at the hands of uncaring parents. This undoubtedly accounts for most of his current psychological problems, the rest of which are caused by intellectual giants such as Kevin and Brittany. He has an annoying habit of shouting every fifth word or so, which causes one of his eyes to bulge out of his head, and if all that weren't enough, he's also saddled with a gambling addiction (which at one time cost him his car).

Young Adult's: Mavis Gary

Mavis Gary is trouble - an author of teen fiction and narcissistic former prom queen with a non-existant moral compass. She returns to her small Minnesota town to win back her high school boyfriend Buddy, who's now married with a newborn daughter.
Mavis is also very thoughtless, selfish and rude. She sleeps around. She ignores her dog, Dolce. And she has a bad habit of tugging out pieces of her hair, once her golden crowning
glory in school.

I'm back once again with some more sims to add to the Daria series and a special little video I have been working on in the meantime ;)
I was debating whether to upload Jodie due to her small role in the show and for generally not being a well liked character but I thought I may aswell add her into the mix even if you don't want to use her as Jodie, maybe just some random townie. Also to note, her hair was changed from her typical cornrows as the sims community seems to have a lack of them and the ones that I did find did not suit her facial structure.

Howdy ho, I am finally able to release to you the final additions to the Morgendorffer home. I made Helen a while ago, while Jake still needed some minor adjustments... So after few set backs (Batman Arkham City >_>) I can finish uploading the rest of the Daria characters.
